Sustainable Shisa

Shisa Brand aspires to make clothes that last, not only this season, but many seasons to come. The designs are classic and will be both noticeable and filled with character as time passes.

The knitwear is hand knitted on the Faroe Islands by women who not only love to knit, they are very skillful knitters with many years of experience. The yarn is for the most part Faroese undyed wool from free ranging sheep or Italian Merino wool, and in some cases, certified ecological. The Faroese wool is super cool and filled with character, but it is not for the overly sensitive skin as it can be a little bit scratchy, whereas the Italian Merino wool is very soft and warm.
